Private by design.

Protecting your privacy is not an afterthought here. It is one of the reasons BEACON & COMPASS exists.

We built this platform so that anyone could use it without handing over personal information. This statement explains, in plain language, what that means.

What we collect

Personal information
None by default. You do not create an account. We do not ask for your name, your child's name, a diagnosis, or any other personal detail to use our guidance and tools.
Cookies and trackers
We do not use cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you. Our interactive tools, such as the coaching tool and the self-audit, run entirely in your browser and save nothing.
Accounts and logins
There are none. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing stored about your visit.
When you email us
If you choose to email us, we receive what you send, such as your email address and your message. We use it only to reply to you. We do not add you to a list or share it.
Technical hosting logs
Like most websites, our web host may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify or track individuals or to build profiles from them.

A few more things

Children. BEACON & COMPASS is written for adults, including the parents and caregivers of a neurodivergent child. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Links to other organizations. Our resource directories link to other websites. Those organizations have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to review them.

Changes. If we ever change how this works, we will update this page and the date below. Our commitment to collecting no personal data about the people we serve will not change quietly.
