BEACON & COMPASS
Our story

Why BEACON & COMPASS exists.

After almost thirty years in talent acquisition, a growing need to serve led me here.

From the founder

I recently stepped away from a career in talent acquisition, drawn by a growing need to serve. Over almost thirty years, I had the privilege of guiding so many people into their dream jobs. That work was deeply rewarding. I am grateful for the time, the experiences, and the knowledge those years gave me.

The need for neurodiversity education and amplification is growing faster than the support to meet it. The understanding required to hire and include neurodivergent talent well has not kept pace. That gap is real and growing. BEACON & COMPASS exists to close it, turning hard-won industry knowledge into plain-language guidance offered freely to neurodivergent people, their families, and the employers who want to hire them well.

This advocacy hits close to home for me. It lit an inner spark that drives this important mission.

What we believe

Difference is not deficit.

Neurodivergent people are not problems to be fixed. We start from capability and dignity and build the support around the person.

Information is power.

The people who know the rules, the timing, and the rights hold the advantage. We put that knowledge in everyone's hands.

Process can change.

The need to understand and include neurodivergent talent is growing faster than the support to meet it. Education and small, deliberate changes can close that gap.

Privacy is respect.

We collect no personal information about the people we serve. No account, no tracking, nothing to store.

How we help

Everything we do lives in three free programs. BeaconArc is a field guide for families raising a neurodivergent child. CompassCohort helps neurodivergent adults find work that fits and thrive once they are in it. BeaconAmplify gives employers the business case and practical tools to hire and support neurodivergent talent.

Want to talk? Whether you are a family finding your footing, a neurodivergent adult navigating work, or an employer ready to build a more inclusive team, I would love to connect.
